Privacy.
Short version: we don't sell your data. We barely collect any. What we do collect, why, and how to get rid of it is all below.
1. Who we are
twoweeksimgone.com is a project run by [LEGAL ENTITY TBD]. Contact for anything privacy-related: hello@twoweeksimgone.com.
2. The free tools
The countdown, share card maker, resignation letter generator, snap-back generator, and "The PIP" all run in your browser. Your quit date, draft inputs, and recent template picks are kept in your browser's local storage so the page survives a refresh. None of it ever leaves your device.
The PIP mechanic encodes the whole plan into the URL itself. There's no server-side record of who issued one, who received one, or what they did with it. We literally couldn't tell you if we wanted to.
3. Page-view analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. It is cookieless, IP-anonymized, and reports only at the country / device level. No profile of you across visits. Cloudflare's policy has the technical detail.
4. The email list (if you sign up)
The signup on the About page is the only place where we store anything tied to you. If you drop your email in, we keep:
- The email address itself.
- The optional "most curious about" topic, if you picked one.
- The timestamp of when you signed up.
- The exact UI copy you saw at signup (so the consent record matches what you actually agreed to).
- A one-way hashed version of your IP address (we cannot reverse it; it only exists to spot rate-limit abuse).
- Your browser's User-Agent string.
We use this to send you a heads-up if we ship something new (merch, a fresh tool, a sponsorship we want to flag). Max one email per month, usually less. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. If you ignore a heads-up for 14 days, we auto-delete your row with no further nudges besides one reminder on day 7.
5. Third parties we rely on
We use the smallest set of services we can. Each was picked for a privacy posture that matches ours.
- Cloudflare serves the site and runs the request gateway. Sees request metadata (IP, country, User-Agent) for security purposes. Cloudflare privacy.
- Supabase stores the email-list rows. Nothing else. Supabase privacy.
- Resend sends the actual emails. Sees recipient addresses and message bodies. Resend privacy.
We don't sell, rent, share, or trade your data. We don't use it to train AI models. None of these subprocessors get extra rights beyond what they need to do their job.
6. How long we keep things
- Email list rows: until you unsubscribe, or 14 days after our next heads-up if you don't re-consent. Whichever comes first.
- Aggregate analytics: indefinite, but cannot be tied back to any individual.
- Local storage in your browser: until you clear it. We can't see it either way.
7. Your rights
At any time you can:
- See what we have on you. Email hello@twoweeksimgone.com from the address you signed up with. We respond within 30 days.
- Delete your row by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. Either deletes you immediately.
- Export a copy of your data. Email us; we respond within 30 days.
- Object to specific processing (e.g. notification emails). Same as delete - unsubscribe.
8. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, the rights above plus:
- Right to know what we collect, why, and who we share it with. Sections 2-5 above.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We don't sell or share. The "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer confirms this in writing.
- Right to non-discrimination. Exercising any privacy right doesn't change pricing or service. There's nothing to change anyway - the site is free.
To exercise these rights, email hello@twoweeksimgone.com. We verify by control of the email address you signed up with.
9. Cookies + local storage
No third-party analytics cookies, no tracking pixels. The site uses your browser's local storage for one thing: keeping your tool drafts and template picks across a refresh. Clear your browser data and it's gone.
10. Children
The site isn't for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor signed up to the email list, email us and we'll delete the row.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this in a way that materially affects what we do with your data, we'll email subscribers at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Smaller changes (formatting, clarifications) just get updated here. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when the current version went live.
